gardening - gardening how to

Indoor gardening can be as simple as plants used to brighten up a home or workspace, to greenhouses using the sun to keep the plants warm. Learning how to deal with pest problems before they start is essential to good gardening.

Most are without steady access to natural water and are in shaded spots, as they are being hung under pergolas or rafters. Whichever your garden is, great care should be taken in the designing stage.

The single most common mistake in planting of seeds is planting them too deep. This also means you get to water less than normal. If you prefer to use repellants that play on the visual and audio senses you can consider items such as the scarecrow, motion detectors with spotlight, and radios.

Most plants kept indoors prefer controlled temperatures; ideally the temperatures should be between 65 and 75 during the day and 60 to 65 at night. Keep an eye on your plants and the weather! On warm sunny days you may need to water them 2-3 times, where cooler and cloudy, maybe only once every 2-3 days. If you are going to use individual pots for your plants instead of buying, them look around your home for any type of item you can use as a pot that you no longer utilize.

Take basic steps to caring for your plants and you will be amazed at the beautiful bulbs enhancing your garden. Be careful not to plant the grasses too deep.
