gardening problems

Fall is a great season for planting ground covers in your garden. Nature is imperfect, and when all else fails, remember what is going on the bench and don t stress.

It is important when choosing a plant to make certain that it is rated for your zone or for a zone lower in number than your own. With convenience being one, there are many benefits to patio gardening. The rows tend to waist valuable compost materials, not to mention that stepping on the soil in between rows kills the soil structure.

You can easily develop a planting calendar by following guidelines, one thing is to know when the last frost date in spring is. Placing your hedges in a straight line is important. Start composting your garden waste and kitchen wastes, if you haven't already done so.

Remember that some plants or bushes will take longer to develop, so you can fill in with other nectar bearing plants. Things such as grass clippings, egg shells, leaves, coffee grinds, and vegetable and fruit peels make great composting material.
